Founded in 1994, BioNutraTech Inc. is the developer and primary manufacturer of micro-encapsulated biostimulants for use in the bioremediation of organic wastes and contaminants in soil, water, wastewater and animal bedding.

BioNutraTech’s products are specially formulated bionutrients designed to accelerate natural degradation of a wide range of common environmental contaminants. The technology behind BioNutraTech’s product formulations is the unique patented oleophilic coating. This coating physically sticks to organic contaminants while slowly releasing key nutrients, providing microbes with energy for cellular growth. BioNutraTech’s nutrients cling to organic wastes without washing away. As a result, the product reduces levels of toxicity, brings projects into compliance and expedites site closures. BioNutraTech’s products DO NOT contain any microbial agents, enzymes, surfactants or toxic chemicals.

The company prioritizes bioremediation product research and development aimed at understanding and facilitating the natural degradation of organic wastes and reducing or eliminating the source of odor. We are particularly interested in developing products that act upon organic waste by stimulating and accelerating the natural degradation process. BioNutraTech holds product patents in both the United States and China.
Manufacturing and Quality Testing
Product manufacturing is maintained under BioNutraTech’s specifications. We can receive, blend and mix formulation variations in either powder, granular or pellet forms. Product shipments can be made by barge, truck, or rail. A third-party laboratory provides product quality assurance.

Our products have been registered with the Nonfood Compounds Registration Program (NSF), since 2006. NSF International launched its voluntary Nonfood Compounds Registration Program in 1999 to reintroduce the previous authorization program administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Products eligible for NSF registration include all compounds used in and around food establishments (nonfood compounds). These include disinfectants and lubricants and compounds used for pre-processing of food-patented substances, such as fruit/vegetable washing agents. NSF registration ensures inspection officials and end users that the formulation and labels meet appropriate food safety regulations.

Meets EPA Requirements
Since 1992, our products have met the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP), Title 40 section 300. The NCP is the federal government’s blueprint for responding to oil spills and hazardous substance releases. The NCP is the result of our country’s efforts to develop a national response capability and promote overall coordination among the hierarchy of respondents and contingency plans. EPA Emergency Repsonse VB591™, VB997™ and BiNutrix® is on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s NCP Product Schedule. This listing does NOT mean that EPA approves, recommends, licenses, certifies or authorizes the use of VB591™, VB997™ and BiNutrix® on an oil discharge. This listing means only that data have been submitted to EPA as required by Subpart J of the National Contingency Plan, 40 CFR Section 300.915.

Sandra is the founder of BioNutraTech, Inc. and has been at the helm of the organization for more than 25 years. She has built the complete corporate infrastructure from the ground up. She is a visionary leader who has successfully invented/co-invented nine patents with eleven different applications that range from bioremediation of organic wastes and contaminants to remediation of residential and municipal wastewater, groundwater, grease traps, animal bedding and litter, and septic tank effluent. She has developed products that decrease ammonia and other odorous compounds, reducing pathogens and improving air quality for both humans and animals.
Sandra was a WE300 winner, which recognized BioNutraTech as one of the top 300 women-owned companies under $1,000,000.00. She has also resided on several committee panels.
